Thanks Giving
Today, Thanksgiving, is our day to celebrate all of our blessings, to be thankful, grateful, and to give. Remember, we call this day Thanksgiving! Be Thankful and Giving.
For some, Thanksgiving might not be perfect like we see on TV, but we all have something to be thankful for. Life isn’t always picture-perfect, but it is always perfect in its own way. Try practicing thankfulness by saying 3 things you’re blessed with every morning when you wake up. Make it a habit to reflect with gratitude each morning. This positivity will jumpstart our day, and maybe help us be kinder to those we meet along our day. We all have an impact, on ourselves and on others, every day.
We can give to others in endless ways.
- Give your time to help, to volunteer, to do something simple for someone.
- Make a pie or treat for someone.
- Buy a coffee for the person in line behind you.
- Give a compliment.
- Make extra of your weekly meals and share them with someone.
- Hold the door open.
- Say thank you!
I’m going to make sure I tell the cashier to have an amazing day instead of grabbing my coffee and saying a quick thank you before heading out the door.
- Send a card or note to someone you haven’t seen in a long time.
- Say Good Morning with a big smile (and mean it!)
These things will mean a great deal to all, no matter who it is.
