Sweet’s That Sweet For You
To some of you, fruit might not be a fav, but I love fruit! Strawberries and blueberries tend to be a staple in my home. I do try to get different options now and then to keep things fresh and fun! It’s easy to keep going to the same go-to fruits we know and like. It’s June and summertime, so now is the best time to try a new fruit and make a new fruit recipe.
The vibrant, bright colors and flavors can brighten our mood and help create an uplifting rest of the day. Depending on the fruit, they have so many health advantages by giving us energy, hydration, vitamins, and minerals to name a few. With so many varieties to choose from, this summer I’m going to change it up and try a new fruit weekly. I always get a watermelon in the summer and I made a watermelon strawberry smoothie. It was really refreshing.
Try the endless options for eating your fruit by making popsicles, a smoothie, adding fruit to your salads, or enjoy it as is. Fruit is yummy and healthy. They are a sweet treat that is sweet for your health! Who wouldn’t want to dig into a bowl of vibrant, colorful fruits? So take advantage of summertime and experience a variety of fruits.
