Spread Gratitude, Not COVID-19
The holiday season is picking up, but so is the spread of COVID-19. Many seem weary of the current situation we have been facing for almost a year’s time. Gathering to celebrate our thankfulness and blessings seems like something we all need, and believe me, we do need to count all of our blessings, but we also have to keep in mind we are living in a pandemic.
Currently on this Thanksgiving Eve, my Papaw is in ICU battling COVID-19, and it is a horrible, horrible virus. Coming from my family to yours, please keep your family and friends safe and healthy by taking precautions this Thanksgiving. If we all come together and make a sacrifice this year, hopefully next year, this will all be behind us and we will celebrate Thanksgiving in person for 2021. There are just so many unknowns with COVID-19, and it is not worth taking any risks.
There are still lots of ways we can enjoy Thanksgiving without celebrating in person with family and friends. We can spend time with our immediate family in our own households, play a game virtually over video-chat with others, read through the jokes I posted for the 60 Days of Human Interaction or write a personal reflection by writing out a gratitude list of everything YOU are grateful for this Thanksgiving.
Please keep you, your family, and your loved ones safe this Thanksgiving and as we head into the Holiday Season.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and always remember to Be Yourself Be Strong And Be Beautiful®
