A graduation cap and confetti with the words caps off to you, class of 2 0 2 0.

Caps off to The Class of 2020!

Seniors, yes, seniors – YOU DID IT! And yes, graduation is cancelled at least the traditional way, but you still did it!

I can’t image the disappointment the class of 2020 is actually feeling. Whether you are graduating from High School,  Trade School or College, not being able to walk across the stage, shake hands while hearing your name being called, tossing your decorated graduation cap in the air, and not getting the chance to say goodbye are all feelings you may have been wanting to experience since the start of your educational journey. The hardest of all may be not receiving acknowledgement for your accomplishments, so here is one from me to you.

This is supposed to be a special, memorable, unforgettable experience filled with festivities, family time, cookouts and grad parties.

You may have been told,

“Social distance, we are in a pandemic, you are making history, this is an obstacle, one of many that might or will come your wayâ€.
Yes, this stinks, but we’re all in the same boat and it is a reality.

May you get a virtual graduation, drive by graduation, even a more creative graduation like jet ski or Motor Speedway graduations, or not one at all, you worked hard to get this diploma and even though you are not able to walk across the stage, take a breath and seize the moment that you did it. You have your future, dreams, and goals so stay positive and hold you head high. Congratulations Class of 2020.

My college graduation is not far off, and not long ago I graduated from high school so I kind of get it, I was looking forward to the traditional celebrations back then, but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t work any harder for the diploma, and boy did I work hard for that diploma!

No matter what grad situation you’re in right now, just know I am proud of you for your hard work, determination, and perseverance.

Always remember to Be Yourself Be Strong and Be Beautiful ® and Caps off to YOU!
