This year, we all have adapted in one way or another. Maybe we were happy or unhappy with an outcome, however, we adapted and accepted the change to our path.
Make 2022 be your year to focus on your resiliency.
Resiliency is a key and vital word to have in your playbook. Resiliency is like taffy, bendable and flexible, but it doesn’t break, it goes with the flow.
Resilience allows us to adapt to situations in a healthier and more positive manner. Resiliency guides us to accomplish our goals, bounce back from difficulties, and overcome anything.
Focus on where you need resiliency in your life. You have this whole year of 2022 to work on crafting your resiliency. Be patient with yourself, adapt, refocus, so when January 2023 gets here you will be able to grow farther than imaginable.
When I was in middle school, I was not allowed to take Spanish classes. I really wanted to learn the language, but my school was afraid I would get lost and struggle too much. I learned to work around that difficult issue by taking private lessons in the summer and on weekends. I eventually took Spanish courses in college and I earned a minor in Spanish. Learning new things is a challenge for me, but I was resilient. I had to bend to solve the problem, by being creative in studying and learning, but I never broke.
Next year, we’ll have different struggles, difficulties, issues, and problems. We need to learn and focus on how to become resilient today. Our focus today will strengthen us to overcome and reach our goals tomorrow.
